Delete your EntoJournal account

You can delete your account and all of its data at any time.

In the app (fastest)

1. Open EntoJournal and go to the Me tab.
2. Scroll to Account and tap Delete my account.
3. Confirm twice. Your account and data are deleted straight away.

By email

If you no longer have the app, email support@diminishedseventh.com with the subject "Delete my EntoJournal account". Because accounts are anonymous, tell us roughly when you used the app and, if you can, the date of one of your finds, so we can find it. We'll confirm when it's done, within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Your finds, photos (including map copies), map pins, identifications, votes and suggestions, reports you made, hidden-person lists, private zones, badges and progress, and your subscription record.

Kept: EntoPedia and species guide pages, which contain no personal data. Purchase records that Google Play keeps for billing and tax.

Subscriptions: deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Cancel it in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
